Join this interactive session to deepen your understanding and expand your imagination around cultivating community collaborations that witness to the love of Jesus, and bring more shalom, justice, and renewal into the life of your church and community.

Participants will:

  • Learn a strengths-based approach to understanding their church and community’s gifts and resources for community engagement.
  • Understand different approaches and examples for building healthy community partnerships
  • Understand key principles and questions to consider in assessing their church’s capacity for collaboration
  • Understand opportunities to build a church culture that supports healthy community collaborations
About the Instructor:

 

Dr. Courtnye Lloyd is a community psychologist, sabbath space curator, pastor and educator. She is a community engagement consultant and the founder of The Gathering, an alternative expression of Church focused on cultivating experiences of deep communion with God and community. She also hosts cohorts, retreats and workshops for healing, formation, and community-building. She brings 20 years of experience working across government, non-profits, ministry, and higher education to create and enrich more just and loving community experiences of belonging and purpose.
